Bristol Zoo Gardens

Unleash your animalistic side with a visit to Bristol Zoo Gardens. There are plenty of fascinating features here to entertain both kids and adults. The number 8 or 9 bus will take you to Bristol Zoo Gardens, direct from Temple Meads Station or the city centre.




Clifton Suspension Bridge

Bristol’s iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge is over 150 years old and offers unbeatable stunning views across the Avon Gorge.



The bridge is only a short walk away from Clifton Village and Christ Church, Clifton, which you can get to on the number 8 bus from the city centre.



Brunel’s SS Great Britain

Throw yourself back to 1843 when you board the world’s first great cruise liner, the Brunel’s SS Great Britain, and experience what it was like for the first passengers to cross the Atlantic in this marvel of engineering. A day here is guaranteed to please, and if you feel the urge to come back for more, your ticket ensures free entry for 12 months.



The ship is only a 30 minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads. Or you can take the bus or ferry there.



At-Bristol

Undoubtedly, one of the UK’s top Science attractions, At-Bristol will provide a fantastic day out for kids and adults alike. There are over 300 interactive exhibits to check out, a Planetarium and plenty of other exciting activities to take part in, including the making of your own TV show or the chance to an object that’s fit to fly.






IMAX and Aquarium

Blue Reef Aquarium is a guaranteed eye-widening, jaw-dropping day out for the full family. Take a walk through the habitats of huge octopuses, tropical sharks and coral species, then put on your 3D glasses for a virtual swim with the ocean’s biggest and most exciting creatures in the IMAX screen.
